Fussiest eater in the world
For the best part of a year my daughter, now almost 3, has been the world's fussiest eater. She hasn't eaten meat or any form of vegetable for roughly a year now. This fussiness came out of nowhere! She eats a lot of fruit, which I'm thankful for, however, I do worry about the amount of sugar it all contains. As the year has gone on more and more food has dropped off her radar and there's now barely a meal she'll eat.
I've adopted a strict strategy that doesn't seem to be working out all that great. I place her meal on the table and polietly ask her to eat. If she doesn't eat her meal she goes hungery for the rest of the night, no fruit or treats. I'm not sure if such a harsh strategy is that wise.
She's so bright, funny, meeting her milestones, sleeps beautifully, and is full of energy. Deep down I know she's fine but it's driving me insane that her diet has become so limited.
Does anyone have any advice for me?
